Early Life Of Gautam Budhha Gautam Buddha was born in 566 B.C. at a place named- Lumbinivana in the Sakya country, which is situated in a region of Nepalese Terai. His father- Suddhodana was a Kshatriya monarch and popular as a chief of the Sakya dynasty. On Later dates, Legends entitled him with a tag- ‘a son of a prestigious king’. However, Sakyas always had a republican constitution. Therefore, it is believed that his father was presumably an appointed chief.
